    TĀMAKI MAKAURAU /AUCKLAND

Kirsty Sutherland is an Open Format DJ whose creativity and ability to seamlessly mix any genre has made her one of the most in demand DJs in her resident Luxembourg and the greater region.

People are often in awe of her in depth knowledge of music as she has held Open Format Club (House, RnB/Hip Hop, Latin, Pop) style residencies, Techno residencies in Paris, Funk & Soul residencies, to Classic Rock nights in Metal bars to even playing French Variety sets in Francophone clubs as well as that hard hitting Festival music in open air festivals to thousands of people.

She has been lucky enough to play in clubs in Ibiza, the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand and of course Luxembourg. She will do everything in her power to fill the dance-floor and keep it full until the end of the night when people go home with smiles on their faces. She loves to adapt to the needs’ of the clients as she vibes of their joy.

Her hard work has shown in recent years as she has had several magazine interview publications, interviews on radio stations across Luxembourg & France, she has won 2nd Best Open Format DJ at the Luxembourg Nightlife Awards (abbreviated LNA) in 2017, 2018 & 2019 - the only female DJ in the country to have done so and has held residencies consistently at prestigious venues across Europe. She has also been lucky enough to support famous artists such as Steve Angello of Swedish House Mafia, Feder and Eva Simons.

Kirsty is not only found behind the decks but for many years was also found behind the microphone hosting her own show on Luxembourg’s only English speaking radio station - Ara City Radio.

In February 2020, Kirsty relocated to Auckland, NZ where she hit the ground running winning a nationwide DJ competition allowing her to DJ and open for Drax Project and Peking Duk at Spark Arena. She was also selected as an artist to represent Jagermeister in their #savethenight campaign during the global lockdown due to COVID-19.

She has since been invited to play in cities across NZ such as Wellington, Nelson & New Plymouth. She's now no stranger to the Auckland scene and you'll find her regularly playing many venues in the city.
